SDGDC HL runs in three stages. The IGCSE & O Level Edition begins on 22 May 2026, followed by Round 2 and the International Final after Round 1 editions are complete.

Conducted by NGN India. Open to IGCSE and O Level students. Begins on 22 May 2026.
Teams register, receive their 4-day competition window beginning on 22 May 2026, build a working solution to a real SDG problem, and present it. Strong teams receive recognition. Selected teams advance to Round 2.

Once all Round 1 editions have closed, every edition's winner enters Round 2. Hosted by NGN International. The first time teams from different curricula compete against each other.

The top teams from Round 2 advance to the International Final — the global stage of SDGDC HL, run by NGN International. Teams receive recognition, certificates, and ranking from SDGDC HL and NextGenNav.
